Regular Meeting Minutes

October 16, 2014

Pledge

President Scott Leber called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

Roll Call

Roll call indicated that all Trustees were present, also present was Phillip David, Fiscal Officer/ Zoning Inspector, Road Superintendent David Kelley was absent.

 

Minutes:

Mr. Parker moved to accept the minutes for the October 2, 2014 meeting, Mr. Stewart seconded the motion. Roll was called, with all present voting to accept the minutes; motion carried.

 

Guest:

No guests were present.

 

Zoning Report:

Mr. David reported that he had issued no permits since the last meeting.

 

Road Superintendent

Mr. Kelley was absent from the meeting. 

 

Trustees:

Mr. Leber said he didn’t have anything to add at this time.

 

Mr. Parker said he didn’t have anything to add at this time.

 

Mr. Stewart reported that he had attended the Nexis Gas Pipeline meeting. He said while everything is still in the planning stages, sooner or later there will be a new natural gas main line crossing Oxford Township which will certainly affect Township roads and infrastructure during the construction process.

 

Mr. Stewart also reported that Mr. Kelley and he were finally able to catch up with the home owner at the corner of Ransom and Mason Roads about trimming the tree limiting the view to the west on Mason. Mr. Stewart said he did give them permission and the tree has been trimmed

 

Fiscal Officer

Mr. David said he didn’t have anything to report at this time.

 

Communications

Communications were reviewed.

 

Old Business

Repairs to the outside security lights and meeting room lights were discussed.

 

New Business

There was no new business to discuss.

 

Mr. Parker moved to pay the bills in the amount of $38,137.38, Mr. Stewart seconded the motion. Roll was called, with all present voting yes; motion carried.

 

No further business, meeting was adjourned.
