CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Mike Parker called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
:Chairman Mike Parker led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL:
Trustees Parker and Miller, Fiscal Officer Melissa Pelletier, and Road Superintendent Andy Dunlap are present. Trustee Leber could not be present today.
MINUTES:
The fiscal officer sent out minutes electronically before the meeting for approval.
Motion
Mr. Miller moved to approve the minutes, and Mr. Parker seconded the motion. A verbal vote was taken, and the motion passed unanimously.
GUESTS:
Deb DeChant was a guest at this evening's meeting. She announced her retirement plans after years of service to Oxford Township as the secretary of the Zoning Appeals Board. Deb has been a stellar asset and will be missed. Her resignation was accepted with regret. Oxford Township trustees appreciate all that she has done for the township.
ZONING INSPECTOR:
Mr. Dunlap gave the zoning report.
Mr. Dunlap suggests going through the vault on an inclement weather day to remove paperwork from the township. Oxford Township will file the proper paperwork to remove record retention.
Mr. Dahs mowed his lawn after several calls.
There have been no updates on the appeal from the prosecutor.
ROAD SUPERINTENDENT:
Road Superintendent Dunlap had to replace the front tires on the zero turns for $45.00/per tire.
Trustee Stewart’s bench has been moved under the shade tree.
Mr. Dunlap will replace the Metropark sign for Oxford Township Park behind the township building.
Berming and Paving is complete for 2024 as of November 6, 2024.

Discussed all payments that were made for the township.
COMMUNICATIONS:
There are no communications from Sherriff Sigsworth.
OLD BUSINESS –
NEW BUSINESS –
Oxford Township is purchasing an F 550 to reduce its truck fleet, maintenance, and operating expenses. The 2002 dump truck and 2020 chassis will be sold, reducing the fleet from 3 vehicles to two.
Motion
Mr. Miller moved to purchase an F550 to reduce capital operating and maintenance expenses, and Mr. Parker seconded the motion. A verbal vote was taken, and the motion passed unanimously.
Motion
Mr. Miller motioned to pay all bills for Oxford Township with a second from Mr. Parker. The motion was carried out after a unanimous vote.
Motion
Mr. Miller made a motion to adjourn, which Mr. Parker seconded. The motion carried after a unanimous vote, and the meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
