CALL TO ORDER:
Scott Leber called the meeting to order at 7 pm.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Trustee Parker led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL:
Trustees Parker, Miller, and Leber are present, as is Andy Dunlap, the Road Superintendent and Zoning Inspector. Fiscal Officer Pelletier is present.
MINUTES:
The fiscal officer sent out minutes electronically before the meeting for review.
Motion
Mr. Leber moved to approve the minutes, and Mr. Miller seconded the motion. A verbal vote was taken, and the motion passed unanimously.
GUESTS:
Lynn Kocheiser from North Central EMS was a guest. Lynn provided a report of Q1,2, and 3. Lynn will email a new agreement that will be renewed annually.
The fiscal year of the 2024 agreement charged Oxford Township $16,883.00 and increases by 3% each fiscal year, similar to the Oxford Township fire agreement with Groton Township.
The fiscal year 2025 will cost $17,389.00 for a contract with North Central EMS.
ZONING INSPECTOR:
An appeals board hearing is scheduled for October 24th, 2024, at 6:30 pm.
ROAD SUPERINTENDENT:
Road Superintendent Dunlap reported that the salt contract is $51.00 per ton picked up and $51.42 per ton if delivered to the township.
In the last few days, Mr. Dunlap has been working with the surrounding townships on paving and 1600 tons.
Andy Dunlap was contacted about assisting a bridge paving on Hull Road.
Margaretta Township has picked up two trucks from Erie Blacktop to expedite paving.
The port-a-pot should be picked up from the ball field.
TRUSTEES
Trustee Parker:
A resident called about placing a light at an intersection.
Mr. Leber:
While installing the brake controller, the technician found a missing wire. Replacing it would increase the price by $48.00.
Mr. Miller:
FISCAL OFFICER –
Now that we have received our money from the Erie County Commissioners, money will be deposited back into Star Ohio, which was used for paving.

NEW BUSINESS –
A Blessing’s Box, which contains nonperishable food items for people in need, is installed on the corner of Thomas and Mason Road. People may donate or take items. This announcement will be added to our Spring Newsletter.
Motion:
Mr. Miller moved to pay the bills, followed by Mr. Leber’s second, and the motion was carried unanimously.
Motion:
Mr. Parker called for a motion for meeting adjournment; Mr. Miller provided the motion with a second by Mr. Leber, and the meeting adjourned. A verbal vote was taken, and the motion passed unanimously.
