Pledge
President Scott Leber called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm
with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call:
Roll call indicated that
Trustees Leber, Parker and Stewart were present, also present was Phillip David,
Fiscal Officer/Zoning Inspector and Road Superintendent Andy Dunlap.
Minutes
Mr. Stewart moved to approve the minutes for
October 19 and November 2, 2023 as corrected, Mr. Parker seconded the motion.
Roll was called with all present answering yes, motion carried.
Guests; Fiscal Officer Elect Melissa Pelletier was present at the meeting to
observe.
Zoning Report:
Mr. David
reported that he had issued no permits since the last meeting.
Road
Superintendent:
Mr. Dunlap reported that the auger motor from
the 2020 Freightliner that had been sent in to be rebuilt had come back as being
un-rebuildable. He then contacted Henderson Truck Sales about any kind of
warranty that might be available. He said that any kind of warranty had expired.
Since a new motor cost less than$600 dollars and was well within budget, Mr.
Dunlap ordered a new motor
Mr. Dunlap said he priced new drive tires for
the 2001 International plow truck at a cost of $1380. After some discussion, Mr.
Stewart moved to purchase the new tires for the 2001 International plow truck,
Mr. Parker seconded the motion. Roll was called, with all present answering yes,
motion carried. Mr. Dunlap said he would get it scheduled.
Trustees:
Mr. Leber – said he had
met with Randy Leber about the drainage problem that St. Johns UCC. was having,
he said twice now when there had been heavy rains the water had backed up and
came up through the basement drains flood the basement.
Mr. Leber said when they had tried to blast the drain tile they found it
was full of number 8 limestone. He said they couldn’t get through the tile with
the blaster, so somewhere the drain tile was broken and the stone used to bed
the tile was plugging it. Mr. Leber said the tile runs across the church parking
lot to Thomas Road and drains into the road tile on the east side of the road.
Mr. Leber said he had received the inspection report that had been done on
the Township generator from Generator Systems. He said he passed it on to the
OTARMA insurance adjustor for their review.
Mr.
Parker –
moved
that Fiscal Officer elect Mellissa Pelletier be sent to the Ohio Township
Convention so she could get some training for when she assumes the Fiscal
Officer position in March, Mr. Leber seconded the motion. Roll was called, with
all present answering yes, motion carried.
Mr. Stewart

There were no
communications to review.
Old Business:
Replacing the generator was discussed earlier in the meeting.
New Business
Mr. Parker moved to pay the
bills in the amount of $8,878.90, Mr. Stewart seconded the motion. Roll was
called, with all present answering yes; motion carried.
Mr. Parker moved to
adjourn.
