CALL TO ORDER:
Trustee Scott Leber called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Trustee Scott Leber led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL:
Trustees Leber, Miller, and Road Superintendent Andy Dunlap were at roll call. Fiscal Officer Pelletier was also present. Trustee Parker could not attend as he was participating in an Honor Flight.
MINUTES:
Fiscal Officer Pelletier sent out minutes electronically before the meeting for approval.
Motion
Mr. Miller moved to approve the minutes, and Mr. Leber seconded the motion. A verbal vote was taken, and the motion passed unanimously.
GUESTS:
No guests were present.
ZONING INSPECTOR
Zoning Inspector Dunlap has no zoning report.
ROAD SUPERINTENDENT:
Mr. Dunlap informed the board that R.A. Bores and Bower Tiling are bidding on the Livengood and Higbee project.
Mr. Dunlap completed the repairs on the Township’s gas tanks.
Mr. Dunlap informed the board that the restoration of WIFI for the Groton Township Fire Department is complete.
TRUSTEES
Trustee Leber:
A resident contacted Mr. Leber concerning the placement of the fiber-optic boxes on Shaffer Road.
Trustee Miller:
Mr. Miller inquired about the check for the grant awarded to Oxford Township by Erie Metro Parks.
Mr. Miller had questions about the Township’s investment account.
Mr. Miller inquired if residents responded to a notice of a fire fine.
A resident contacted Mr. Miller concerning the placement of the fiber-optic boxes on Shaffer Road.
Trustee Parker:
Trustee Parker was not in attendance.
FISCAL OFFICER:
Fiscal Officer Pelletier explained that the money in the investment account is encumbered, and a payoff of the building is not budgeted or available in the general fund.
Ms. Pelletier sent the check to Playground World for the new swing set, which will be reimbursed through grant money.
COMMUNICATIONS:
No communications from Sheriff Sigsworth.
OLD BUSINESS :
No old business to report.
NEW BUSINESS:
Motion
Mr. Miller motioned to pay all bills for Oxford Township with a second from Mr. Leber. The motion passed after a unanimous vote.
Motion
Mr. Leber moved to adjourn, which Mr. Miller seconded. The motion carried after a unanimous vote.
