Pledge
President James Stewart called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm
with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call:
Roll call indicated that
Trustees Michael Parker & Scott Leber were present, Trustee James Stewart was
absent, also present was Phillip David, Fiscal Officer/Zoning Inspector and Road
Superintendent David Kelley.
Minutes
Mr. Parker moved to accept the minutes for the
May 19, 2022 meeting, Mr. Leber seconded the motion. Roll was called, with all
present voting yes; motion carried.
Guests
No guests were present.
Zoning Report:
Mr. David
reported that he had issued one permit since the last meeting.
Road
Superintendent:
Mr. Kelley reported that he had begun cutting back the berm on Delematre
Road, he estimated it would take three days, weather permitting to finish
Delematre Road and then they would move on to Harris and Portland Roads. He said
so far, all the dirt had been taken to Tom Weilnau’s pond site that he was
filling in.
He said Margretta Township was going to start crack sealing this next week
Trustees:
Mr. Leber –
said he had
the revised bid from Smetzer Electrics for $3053.80 dollars for cameras and
equipment to be installed at the Township Complex and Delematre Road building.
After
some discussion, Mr. Parker moved to accept the bid from Smetzer Security for
installation of the security and fire warning systems in the Ransom Road Complex
and the Delematre Road building, Mr. Leber seconded the motion. Roll was called,
with all present voting yes motion carried. Mr. Leber said he would notify
Smetzer Security.
Mr.
Leber reported that he had attended the Regional Planning meeting. He reported
that there were several projects that Regional was working on, one was a Luv
Truck Plaza be built at the site of the old Homestead Restaurant on Route 250.
Mr.
Parker
– Presented a revised Intergovernmental Agreement between the Erie County
Commissioners and Oxford Township Trustees for funds that will be received from
the County’s portion of the gas excise tax and motor vehicle license tax. These
funds must be used for the maintenance, repair and construction of public roads
within the County – which includes Township roads within the County.
After
reviewing the agreement, Mr. Parker moved to accept the revised written
agreement, Mr. Leber seconded the motion. Roll was called, with all present
answering yes, motion to accept the rewritten agreement passed.
Mr. Stewart
– reported that he had called the
realtor who had listed the house at 8906 Ransom Road about the high grass at
that location, he said after talking to the realtor they had mowed the high
grass at the property.
Fiscal Officer
Mr. David reported that he
was still working on getting the SLFRF Project Report filed but was having no
success. He said he had talked with Treasury people and people at Ohio Township
Association about the problem. He said that he had been working with Heidi
Fought, Executive Director at Ohio Township Association trying to get access to
the Treasury site.

New Business:
Mr. Parker moved to pay the
bills in the amount of $4,535.85, Mr. Leber seconded the motion. Roll was
called, with all present answering yes; motio9n carried.

Parker moved the meeting be adjourned, Mr. Leber seconded the motion.
