CALL TO ORDER:
Trustee Scott Leber called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Trustee Scott Leber led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL:
Trustees Leber, Miller, Parker, and Road Superintendent Andy Dunlap were at roll call. Fiscal Officer Pelletier was also present.
MINUTES:
Fiscal Officer Pelletier sent out minutes electronically before the meeting for approval.
Motion
Mr. Parker moved to approve the minutes, and Mr. Miller seconded the motion. A verbal vote was taken, and the motion passed unanimously.
GUESTS:
Mary Ann Parker was a guest at our meeting this evening.
ZONING INSPECTOR
Zoning Inspector Dunlap sent out eight zoning violations. Six of the residents complied with their violations.
Prosecutor Bennett has filed the necessary injunctions against Oxford Township residents on Patten Tract for repeatedly ignoring zoning violations.
ROAD SUPERINTENDENT:
Oxford Township applied for a Safety Sign Grant to help cover the estimated $28,000.00 cost of replacing signs throughout the township.
Oxford Township received the Moore Grant, which was put to good use by Mr. Dunlap. Safety equipment and jacks were purchased.
Mr. Tom Weilnau, former Trustee, continues to assist Mr. Dunlap with mowing township road embankments, brush, and tree limbs. Oxford Township would like to thank Mr. Weilnau for his kindness, as he has refused to accept any compensation in any form.
The township collected five dumpsters on June 7 during the Township Tire and Appliance Recycle Day. The 2026 recycling day will not allow for mattresses or televisions.

Mr. Miller informed the Board that the low-hanging wires on Higbee Road had been repaired; however, the wires on Livengood had not been repaired.
Mr. Miller received an estimate from Bower Tiling Services, which was significantly lower than the other estimate received.
Trustee Parker:
Trustee Parker announced that the results of the Blue Ribbon Commission will be presented to the public on June 30, 2025, at Firelands Campus, BGSU.
Mr. Parker reminded those present about the Township Association picnic, scheduled for June 12, 2025.
FISCAL OFFICER:
The fiscal officer completed the transfer of information for the 2023-2024 audit to the firm conducting the audit.
Ms. Pelletier is leaving for vacation on Friday, June 13, and will return on Friday, June 20.
Ohio Township Risk Management Association (OTARMA) insurance premiums have increased by $ 2,307.00 for the 2025 fiscal year.
COMMUNICATIONS:

NEW BUSINESS:
A total of four bids were received for the 2002 International Truck, which was up for a closed-bid auction. The winning bid came in from Caleb Lane at $7,227.
Resolution No. 06-11-2025
RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE ERIE COUNTY ENGINEER TO REPRESENT THE INTERESTS OF OXFORD TOWNSHIP IN THE ROADWAY USE, REPAIR, AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT (RUMA) ENTERED INTO BETWEEN THE ERIE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AND FIRELANDS WIND, LLC, FOR THE PURPOSES SET FORTH THEREIN.
The Board of Township Trustees of Oxford Township, Erie County, Ohio, met at a regular session on June 11, 2025, at the Township office at 11104 Ransom Road, Oxford Township, Erie County, Ohio, with the following members present:
Trustee Michael Parker, Trustee Scott Leber, and Trustee Brian Miller.
Mr. Leber introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:
WHEREAS this Board has determined that the Erie County Engineer shall represent the best interests of Oxford Township with respect to the Road Use, Repair and Maintenance Agreement between the Erie County Board of Commissioners and Firelands Wind, LLC, regarding all township roadways impacted by services rendered therein.
BE IT RESOLVED
that this Board hereby determines and declares that the Erie County Engineer shall be appointed to represent the best interests of Oxford Township for all township roadways affected by the Road Use, Repair and Maintenance Agreement entered into by the Erie County Board of Commissioners and Firelands Wind, LLC, for the use, repair, and maintenance of all township roadways affected therein.

Mr. Parker moved to approve the RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE ERIE COUNTY ENGINEER TO REPRESENT THE INTERESTS OF OXFORD TOWNSHIP IN THE ROADWAY USE, REPAIR, AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT (RUMA) ENTERED INTO BETWEEN THE ERIE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AND FIRELANDS WIND, LLC, FOR THE PURPOSES SET FORTH THEREIN.
With a second from Mr. Leber, the motion and the roll call being called resulted as follows:

Mr. Parker motioned to accept the bid of $7,227.00 for the 2002 International Truck, with a second from Mr. Miller. The motion passed after a unanimous vote.
