Pledge
President James Stewart called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm
with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call:
Roll call indicated that
Trustees Scott Leber and James Stewart were present, Trustee Michael Parker was
absent, also present was Phillip David, Fiscal Officer/Zoning Inspector and Road
Superintendent David Kelley.
Minutes
Mr. Leber moved to accept the minutes for the
August 4, 2022 meeting, Mr. Stewart seconded the motion. Roll was called, with
all present voting yes; motion carried.

Zoning Report:
Mr. David
reported that he had issued three permits since the last meeting,
Road
Superintendent:
Mr.
Kelley reported OUPS had marked several roads in the Township without notifying
him for the reason they were being marked. He questioned if there was going to
be fiberoptic cables buried like there had been on State Route 113? To
everyone’s knowledge there had been no inquiries or permits issued regarding the
OUPS markings. Mr. Kelley said he would contact the County to see if they knew
what the markings were for.
Mr.
Kelley reported that they were done paving Taylor Road and Campbell Street and
the driveways had been back filled and graded. He said they were going to be
paving in Margretta Township the next couple days, and then back over to Oxford
to do the berms on the newly paved roads.
Mr.
Kelley reported that the bumper on the 550Truck had been accidently dented by a
Margretta truck during the paving process. After some discussion, Mr. Leber
moved that no insurance claim should be made on the incident, and the bumper
should just be purchased and replaced by Oxford Township, Mr. Stewart seconded
the motion. Roll was called, with all present answering yes; motion carried. Mr.
Kelley said they had located a replacement bumper and he would see that it was
put on the truck.

said he
didn’t have anything to report at this time
Mr.
Parker
– was absent.
Mr. Stewart
– said that Mr. Parker had said that
all bills for road repairs should be recorded as being paid out of the County
Funds that the Commissioners had granted to the Townships Road Department. Mr.
Stewart remind everyone about the Sheriff’s Canine Event being held at Berlin
Township Conservation League. He said there would be a Taco Truck there for eats
and the Band Honey Creek would be providing entertainment.
Fiscal Officer
Mr. David reported that he
was working on the Budget for 2023 which was due to be turned in to the County
Auditor.

There was no old business to discuss.
New Business:
Mr. Leber moved to pay the
bills in the amount of $17,201.26, Mr. Stewart seconded the motion. Roll was
called, with all present answering yes; motion carried.

Leber moved the meeting be adjourned, Mr. Stewart seconded the motion.
